Nollywood actress and filmmaker Regina Daniels has taken to social media with a highly emotional outcry, alleging injustice in the ongoing case involving her brother, whom she says has been wrongfully detained.
In the lengthy and intense message, Regina expressed deep frustration and despair, claiming that her brother’s only “offense” was defending his younger sister during a domestic violence incident involving her in-law. She accused the authorities of bias and handling the matter in favor of the “highest bidder,” expressing disappointment in the Nigerian Police.
Regina said she now feels “crippled” by the situation and hinted at disturbing personal fears, alleging that she would have to suffer harm before her brother is released. She described her brother’s situation as one where “there is no tangible case” against him, stressing that she feels overwhelmed and powerless.
The actress also referenced billionaire politician Ned Nwoko, noting that many believe he wields overwhelming influence—though she did not provide details linking him directly to her brother’s case. She said the circumstances have left her feeling like she has “lost.”
As of press time, the Nigerian Police Force has not publicly reacted to Regina Daniels’ claims, and no official statements have been released regarding the status of the case or the allegations raised.
