Nollywood actress-turned-politician, Tonto Dikeh, has finally addressed the swirling controversy surrounding her alleged involvement in the ongoing Justice for Mohbad saga, declaring her unwavering resolve to maintain peace and preserve her integrity.
In a powerful and spiritually charged statement posted on her Instagram page, Tonto Dikeh stated that at this point in her life, she has chosen “peace over disgrace” and will not descend into chaos despite public provocation and speculation.
“After four decades on this earth, I have made a conscious, unwavering choice: peace over disgrace,” she wrote.
Identifying herself as a woman guided by her faith in El-Roi “the God who sees me” Dikeh affirmed that she would not defend herself with words but instead let the truth be revealed in due time through divine intervention.
“Truth needs no defense; in His time, it shall be revealed, not by my hand, but by His divine orchestration,” she added.
The former Deputy Governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State emphasized that her legacy speaks for itself and that no mortal can rob her of the divine joy and self-love she carries.
In a striking conclusion to her post, Dikeh declared:
“I stand rooted, healed, and dangerously in love with myself. In this sacred space of self-love, I am both my sanctuary and my fire.

Though she did not directly name those behind the allegations or controversy, her message appears to be a pointed response to those questioning her intentions or involvement in the campaign seeking justice for late singer Mohbad, who died under mysterious circumstances in 2023.
