Afrobeats singer Afeez Adeshina, popularly known as Destiny Boy, has reportedly died at the age of 22. The news was confirmed on Sunday, January 18, 2025, by Instagram investigative journalist Temilola Sobola, who announced the singer’s passing on social media.
In her post, Sobola wrote, “Singer Destiny Boy has passed away. May his soul rest in peace .” As of now, the cause of his death has not been publicly disclosed or verified.
Destiny Boy recently made headlines in November 2024 when it was reported that he welcomed his first child at the age of 20.
