Social media activist and outspoken critic, VeryDarkMan, has once again taken to the streets, this time in Abuja, to protest the worsening state of public education and unpaid workers in the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).

In a passionate display of activism, VeryDarkMan was seen leading a group of out-of-school children to the gates of the FCTA office, demanding immediate action from the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike. The protest highlighted the plight of public school children who have been out of school for nearly three months due to unpaid teachers’ salaries.

Upon arriving at the FCTA complex, the group was met with another ongoing protest by staff of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), particularly from the environmental department, who have reportedly not been paid for over six months.

Speaking on camera, VeryDarkMan called out Minister Wike directly, referencing an alleged N2 billion land gift to his son while public servants in the FCT suffer. “Dear Nyesom Wike, I heard you gave your son land worth over two billion dollars, yet our teachers are not paid, children are not in school, and workers are owed for months,” he said.

He further mentioned that the civil defence officers were also protesting unpaid entitlements, and alleged that even the police were being owed allowances. “What exactly is the work of Nyesom Wike in Abuja?” he asked. “You’ve abandoned your duties here and spent all your time chasing power in Rivers State.”

VeryDarkMan called for the immediate payment of salaries to teachers and all affected workers, urging the government to prioritize education and public welfare over political power tussles.
