
Senate President Godswill Akpabio has blamed the immediate past governor of Edo state Godwin Obaseki over what he described as the dwindling fortune of the state during his tenure as governor. The Senate President made the disclosure during the commissioning of thirty new tractors, five bulldozers and other agricultural equipment in Benin City the Edo state capital.
The Senate President who arrived at Edo state as part of the one year anniversary of the Edo state governor Monday Okpebholo, immediately cut the tape to commission the equipment before blaming the immediate past governor who came after Comrade Adams Oshomhole for under-developing the state.
On his part, the host and governor of Edo state Monday Okpebholo appealed to the Senate President to help instigate the move to prosecute the former governor of the state.
