Senate President Akpabio had a disagreement with Senator Seriake Dickson over his comment, where he said nobody contested the results of the last presidential election conducted in Ghana during the screening of Joash Amupitan as INEC Chairman.
Akpabio responded by saying that Jonathan didn’t also contest the results of the presidential election conducted by INEC in 2015 and that INEC was improving.
Senator Dickson and Senator Ningi then reminded Akpabio that the election was conducted under a PDP president.
Akpabio fired back, saying that right now, no sane human being wants to go to the PDP because the party has been turned into shreds, while adding that he doesn’t want to give the incoming INEC Chairman a clue because going to the PDP simply means going into litigation.
