Alleged #2.2bn Fraud: Court Grants Fayose Leave For Medical Trip Abroad

Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has granted Ekiti state ex-governor, Ayodele Fayose permission to travel abroad for medical purposes following the deterioration of his health.

Ayodele Fayose is facing prosecution from the Economic and Financial Crimea Commission over an allegation of #2.2 billion fraud.

This medical trip abroad leave was granted following the an application filed by his counsel a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Olalekan Ojo.

This medical leave abroad is reportedly the second time Ayodele Fayose is been granted by Justice Aneke of the Federal High Court, Lagos. However, the EFCC prosecuting counsel ,Rotimi Jacob(SAN) did not oppose the Judge’s ruling.
