Previously the major challenge to the politics of Anambra State has been that of godfather influence. Although former Governor Chris Ngige fought tirelessly to subdue the godfather he chose for himself willingly, he failed at the last count so he could realize how not to conspire against the state for the sake illegally gaining political power.
The Willie Obiano led APGA government is at it again, doing everything possible to beget a godson that will do their bidding at Aguoka for the next 4 years. A party whose slogan is “onye aghana nwanne ya” have decided to sacrifice democracy on the alter of personal interest; how sad!
How can anyone explain the divisive attitude of APGA leaders and their continuous show of deceit while their PDP counterparts are displaying exemplary leadership through self-sacrifice? Whatever they’re up to, APGA should just not take us through another round of bloodshed like they usually do during elections.
On his own part, the silence of Prof Charles Soludo in the face of obvious injustice in view of his party’s intraparty election is a clear confirmation of the kind of governor he’s likely to become if given an opportunity. Previously, it was the let’s go south campaign which is somehow translating into let’s make a stooge project.
The latest invitation sent out by Anambra State SSG, Prof Solo Chukwulobe is a clear indication that a winner emerged long before the party primaries, hence the need for affirmation instead of election. Kindly read…
“I INVITE ALL SSAs, SAs & EAs FOR AN IMPORTANT BRIEFING BY PROF CHARLES SOLUDO ON THURSDAY MARCH 18, 2021.
VENUE: WOMEN DEVELOPMENT CENTRE, AWKA.
TIME: 10AM PROMPT.
Prof Solo Chukwulobelu
SECRETARY TO THE STATE GOVERNMENT.”
To this end, it is obvious that APGA government has failed the good people of Anambra State in all fronts that require competency, trustworthiness, justice and actual delivery of democracy dividends to the average citizens. The opportunity to change this trend comes up by November 6th, 2021.
