The new Commissioner for Transport Dr Christian Madubuko yesterday 18th September 2019 led members of the newly constituted Task force ,decongested Upper Iweka and surroundings .
Free the roads from all Illegal loadings and offloading done along Upper Iweka Axis and surrounding roads/service lanes .
Free the roads from renewed robbery,phone/hand bag snatching being experienced at Upper Iweka and surrounding roads as a result of Illegal loading and offloading previously done there .
Free the roads from illegal buying and selling done at Upper Iweka and surrounding roads ,which have continued to cause major accident before now .
Free the roads from Illegal parking which has continue to obstruct the roads and in turn cause accident before now.
The Hon Commissioner intend to sustain this as he has permanently stationed the members of the task force there ,who will be assisted by ATMA ,Willie Task force, Ocha Brigade ,members of Road Safety etc to maintain peace and order in Upper Iweka and surrounding roads/service lane in line with the vision of Governor Willie Obiano.
We are making progress.
