Prof. Joseph Olasehinde Afolayan, Vice-Chancellor, Anchor University, Lagos (AUL), has projected that the institution would make the list of the best five universities in Nigeria within 10 years of its establishment.
He stated this while speaking with Akelicious at the inauguration of Alimosho District of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the investiture of its executive over the weekend on Ayobo campus where the vice-chancellor played host.
Afolayan, a professor of civil engineering, also envisioned that students of the Deeper Life Church-owned varsity would make a marked difference in society on graduation as the institution under his watch has made it a point of duty to ensure that the students were indeed worthy in character and learning.
“Anchor University was two years old on February 1, 2019. That means, we have eight years more to realise our Vision 1-5-10, which will see us becoming one of the top five universities in Nigeria in our first 10 years of existence by the grace of God.
