APC

‎Ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election in Ekiti State scheduled for October 27, the party has cautioned aspirants to abide by its constitution and ensure credible primaries.

‎The APC State Secretary, Garba Arogundade, gave the warning in Ado-Ekiti during the inauguration of a pro-democratic group within the party under the banner of the New Broom Movement.

‎Arogundade stressed that while the party or the incumbency cannot prevent any aspirant from contesting in the primary ahead of the 2026 governorship election, the APC has established structures to ensure that the best candidate emerges.

‎Speaking at the Inauguration of the New Broom Movement’s Ward and Local Government Coordinators, the Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Adeoye Aribasoye, urged youths to uphold values and shun monetary distractions.
