Barcelona Superstar Convinced By Coach To Join PSG As Part Of Neymar Deal

One of Barcelona’s most valuable players has been asked to leave the club after the Catalans are close to sanctioning a deal for Neymar.
Paris Saint-Germain have conceded to the fact that Neymar will be departing the Parc de Princes by the end of this summer. The Brazil international has been touted to move to one of Barcelona and Real Madrid. There is heavy interest from his former side and the fact that the Whites dropped their pursuit for Neymar, Barca have been favourites to sign him.

Neymar will be leaving Paris Saint-Germain only two years after his world record move for 222 million euros from the Camp Nou, and given that their investment has been anything but fruitful, the Ligue 1’s defending champions have slapped a price tag of 200 million euros on their attacking star but are thought to be open for a player swap if it is beneficial for them.

Barcelona were offering several players at once in the shapes of Ivan Rakitic, Philippe Coutinho, Nelson Semedo, Samuel Umtiti and Ousmane Dembele. However, all of their bids to this point had been rebuffed by PSG or the players being involved in the swap deals were not wanting to leave Catalonia for France.

Fox Sports has now reported that the Ousmane Dembele has been convinced to leave the Blaugranas for the Parisians by former Barcelona player and current sporting director Eric Abidal along with manager Ernesto Valverde. Dembele was told that he would have no playing time in the Barca line-up and that PSG would be a good destination for the World Cup winner.

Thomas Tuchel also reportedly had a word with the France international and with Barcelona now willing to offer an amount of cash on parity with Paris Saint-Germain’s demand, it looks like only a matter of time that Neymar seals his return back to La Liga. That said, Dembele will be a loss for the Catalans, but not if Neymar continues to perform like before he left.
