Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic killings in the state, describing the incident as devastating and uncalled for.
He praised the swift response of the Chief of Defence Staff and the Inspector General of Police, whose visit he said brought reassurance to grieving communities.
Governor Alia noted that President Tinubu is deeply touched by the incident and has sent condolences.
He added that security presence in the affected areas has been increased, and urged residents to remain hopeful as coordinated efforts are made to prevent further violence.
Honestly I am beginning to believe Nigerian leaders are bunch of never do wells, always reacting and never acting, so if the moribund president did not show concern he,, the non active gov can’t do a thing, rather than stifling the people of reaction do something like capturing the perpetrators to douse the anger in people’s hearts rather reporting rubbish, you politicians have taken Nigerians for granted a lot. You politicians have a numbered days and you can’t keep fooling people with your cluelessness.
