Breaking: Buhari’s Govt Begs US And UK To Fulfil Their $100 billion Pledge

Recently, Buhari’s government appealed to US, UK and other developed countries to pay the $100 billion they promised to use in supporting some “developing” countries.

According to FG, the $100 billion will help some countries to attain the ‘Nationally Determined Contributions’ (NDC) target.

Specifically, Mohammad Abubakar (Environment minister in Buhari’s regime) sought the support of UN to persuade developed countries to redeem the NDC $100 billion pledge.

Mr Abubakar made this statement on Tuesday when UN Deputy Secretary-General (Amina Mohammed) paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja.
