A major fire outbreak has been reported at the popular Electrical Obosi Building in Obosi, Anambra State, causing panic among residents and business owners in the area.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire started earlier today and has been spreading rapidly through the building, which houses several electrical shops and warehouses. A resident who raised the alarm urged shop owners to rush down to salvage their goods and properties before the fire consumes more sections of the complex.
Firefighters have reportedly been alerted and are said to be on their way to the scene as residents and traders continue efforts to contain the blaze using buckets of water and fire extinguishers.
The cause of the fire is still unknown as of the time of this report, but witnesses suggest it may have been triggered by an electrical surge.
