Popular Nigerian rapper Ruggedman has reportedly been detained at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti, on the orders of a Deputy Commissioner of Police in connection with ongoing issues surrounding the Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria (PMAN).
Sources allege that the detention was carried out without a proper investigation, and that Ruggedmann and others involved are currently facing maltreatment while in custody.
