The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially announced the release of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results for school candidates.
The announcement was made on Monday, August 4, 2025, via a statement shared on WAEC’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle.
According to the examination body, candidates who sat for this year’s WASSCE can now access their results online.
“The West African Examinations Council is pleased to inform candidates who sat WASSCE for School Candidates, 2025 that the result has officially been released today, Monday, August 4, 2025,” the statement read.
WAEC further advised candidates to log on to its official result-checking portal at www.waecdirect.org to view their results.
