A Nigerian car dealer has taken to social media to raise alarm over a bizarre case of sudden disappearance, after a client who paid ₦45 million for a vehicle in 2023 mysteriously vanished — and has remained unreachable for over two years. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
The incident was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @maziechidiime, CEO of Echidiime Motors Limited, who said the client was discovered via TikTok — but has since gone off the grid, with even his TikTok account permanently deleted.
💸 “He Paid, Then Vanished”
In the viral post, the dealer explained:
“A client paid for a vehicle worth ₦45 million and ghosted us since 2023. We’ve tried calling, texting, and reaching out to his bank—but nothing. His TikTok account has been deleted too.”
Efforts to trace him through the bank account used for payment hit a brick wall, with the bank allegedly refusing to release helpful information. The only clue left? The man may be an orphan — and possibly unreachable.
