Chief Kalu enjoins Christians to pray for the land on Easter

The Director General of Global Initiative for Good Governance (GIGG), Chief Dr. Emeka Kalu has enjoined all Christians to use this period of Easter to make sober reflections over events of few months prevalent in the world now.

He said that the prayer of Christians can cleans the world of the deadly Coronavirus pandemic if they come to God in a true repentant heart, heeding to his commands that “If my people that are called by my name shall humble themself and come unto me, I will answer them and heal the land”. This is a petinent and higher purpose and reason for this season.

These words must have been meant for times like this and it is a commandment that must be obeyed to attract this blessings as the world needs true healing of the maker of heaven and earth.

Easter signifies the resurrection of Christ from dead which is the summary of the finished work of salvation for which all Christians believe in. And so we must make it a period to resurrect with Christ from all negativties and infirmities plaguing the world.

I send greeting to all Christians in the world and encourage them to use this period to come closer to God in prayers to heal the land and have mercy on humanity. This is a period the world must stand together as one entity to confront our common enemy, Coronavirus pandemic.
