An FCT High Court sitting in Life Camp, Abuja, has adjourned the trial of Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, in an alleged assault and battery case until November 26.

The suit was filed by fellow musician Ogbogiri Okey Levi, professionally known as Kraziecent, who accused the rapper of violently assaulting him during a public event on December 16, 2024.

Justice J. Adeyemi-Ajayi adjourned the matter after the claimant’s counsel, Uchenna Ojembe, informed the court that the defendant had been duly served with all necessary documents but had yet to file any response.

In the civil action, Kraziecent alleged that he was peacefully taking photos and recording videos of himself when Odumodublvck allegedly attacked him without provocation. He claimed the assault resulted in physical injuries and damage to his iPhone 15 Pro Max.

He further accused the rapper of assault, battery, and the intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The claimant is seeking several reliefs, including an order compelling Odumodublvck to pay medical bills incurred due to the alleged attack, compensation for the damaged phone, as well as redress for public humiliation and reputational harm. He is also requesting a public apology from the defendant.
