Popular nightlife entrepreneur Pascal Okechukwu has stirred controversy on social media after appearing to take a swipe at Ogun State while celebrating his travel plans.
In a post shared on Instagram, the celebrity barman contrasted what he described as ongoing celebrations in some states over newly built airports with the ease of private travel in his home state, Imo State.
“While some states are still celebrating having an airport, in my celebrity state IMO, we can fly at any time,” he wrote.
Cubana Chief Priest went on to reveal that he was en route from Owerri to Barcelona to join music star Davido on his sold-out Europe tour. He added that the trip was part of activities marking his “Road to Forty” 38th birthday celebration.
The post, which many interpreted as a jab at Ogun State following recent attention on its airport project, quickly generated mixed reactions online. While some fans praised his lifestyle and confidence, others criticized the comment as unnecessary and dismissive.
