Ossai Ovie Success, an aide to the Delta State Governor, has expressed disappointment over the upcoming white wedding of Afrobeats superstar Davido and his wife Chioma, scheduled to hold this weekend in Miami, Florida.
In a statement shared online, Ossai criticized the singer for what he described as “careless spending,” arguing that having too much money shouldn’t lead to wasteful decisions.
“What is the essence of a white wedding in Florida when your lavish traditional marriage is over a year old?” he questioned.
He compared Davido’s lifestyle to that of billionaires like Dangote, Elon Musk, and Mark Zuckerberg, stating that such figures wouldn’t indulge in such extravagance.
