Delta state governor Sheriff Oborevwori has said that the welfare of the people is a key factor in his administration.
The governor made the disclosure during an event marking the flag off of the widow’s welfare scheme for ten thousand beneficiaries at the event center in Asaba the state capital.
According to him, infrastructure alone is not enough to empower the power.
Some widows who benefitted from the forty five thousand naira monthly stipends commended the gesture of the governor.
