A Nigerian lady has sparked heavy conversation online after narrating the story of a man who found out—only two days after landing in Nigeria—that the child he had been caring for was not his.
She explained that when she first spoke about alleged infidelity issues among married women in Ago Palace Way, many women attacked her online. But several men also reached out, saying they had gone through similar situations. With permission, she shared one of the stories.
According to her, the man had lived in Germany for 15 years. Two years ago, he met a lady online, returned to Nigeria, and they got married after just three months of dating. They eventually had a son.
He worked tirelessly abroad—day and night—sending money home for rent, baby items, his wife’s upkeep, and anything else they needed. Everything seemed fine until he watched her viral video about DNA tests and the situations some married men in Ago Palace reportedly face. His wife happens to live in the same area.
He arrived in Nigeria earlier this year to permanently relocate and be closer to his family. The very next day, he quietly took the child for a DNA test without informing his wife. He paid for an express result, and within 48 hours, the truth hit him: he was not the child’s biological father.
She added that several signs later made sense to him.
The pregnancy had come earlier than expected.
His wife changed her phone password immediately after discovering she was pregnant.
She refused to travel back to Germany with him after giving birth.
He always brushed these thoughts aside, but the uneasiness never left.
He has reportedly spent over €14,000 on the child in one year. Now, he wants the story shared—not to mock anyone—but to warn other men.
