In a dramatic turn of events that has left many speechless, a groom has called off his traditional wedding on the very day it was meant to take place, accusing his bride’s family of financial exploitation and mismanagement.
According to eyewitnesses and sources close to the event, the groom, whose identity is yet to be officially disclosed, stormed out of the venue in anger after discovering that all the money he had sent to his in-laws for the marriage preparations had allegedly not been used as agreed.
“All the money wey him don dey send since, dem no do anything. Na today he see say dem just dey chop the money,” a source familiar with the situation told our reporter.
