Tension has reportedly erupted at the national headquarters of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Abuja following a court decision said to have removed Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, from his position.
Sources claim that shortly after the ruling, a picture frame of the embattled union leader was destroyed within the premises, signaling rising tensions among members.
Meanwhile, Ibikunle Baruwa is reportedly set to take over leadership of the union, as developments continue to unfold.
