Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, publicly corrected a Master of Ceremonies (MC) during a recent event attended by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Dangote emphasized that he should be addressed as “Chairman,” not “President,” even if said with a small “p.”
The billionaire businessman lightly scolded the MC for mistakenly referring to him as “President,” clarifying that he never claimed the title. “Don’t call me President, Jor,” Dangote said, drawing laughter and underscoring the importance of proper protocol when the actual President is present.
