The Enugu state government through the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has commenced the arrest of Native Doctors operating in the state.
The ministry through its Task Force, took to villages in Enugu state in a bid to riding the state of unlicensed native doctors and their practices.
In the video, one of the arrested men claimed to be a Doctor who has hospital in the North.
You can recall that the state in earlier times, asked native doctors operating in the state to register with the state ministry of culture and tourism to obtain licenses to operate.
While some people believe this to be a replica of what happened in Anambra state, where native doctors operating in the state experienced the same kind of sanctions. Leaving most of them in police custody till date.
Some are commending the state government, saying this is a welcome development for the good of the state.
