Nigerians have expressed outrage following yet another mass abduction in Niger State on Friday morning, with reports indicating that over 100 people were kidnapped, including 32 schoolchildren.
Reacting to the incident, award-winning rapper and social activist Falz condemned the worsening insecurity in the country, declaring that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has “failed woefully” and should tender his resignation immediately.
In a strongly worded statement shared on his social media platforms, Falz said it was “insane and unacceptable” that large-scale kidnappings have become a recurring tragedy under the current administration. He argued that the government has failed in its primary duty to secure the lives and property of citizens.
This latest attack adds to a string of violent incidents recorded across the North in recent weeks, heightening public frustration over the nation’s security challenges.
