Officers of the Nigeria Police, FCT command, are heading to various council areas and polling stations to monitor the FCT election process.
They will also ensure compliance with the notice of restriction of movement.
As mandated by the Electoral Act 2022, the Nigeria Police Force serves as the lead agency in electoral security management.
Their primary role is to provide a secure environment for voters, electoral officials, and materials throughout the pre-election, election day, and post-election phases.
