Femi Fani-Kayode Mocks Peter Obi Over Alleged Snub at Pope’s Inauguration

Femi Fani-Kayode and Peter Obi

Controversial political figure and former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode (FFK), has taken a swipe at Labour Party leader Peter Obi following reports that he was initially denied access to see the Pope during the inauguration of Pope Leo XIV.

According to FFK, despite the reputed efforts of Cardinal Francis Arinze to facilitate a meeting, Obi was “beautifully bounced” and only later granted limited access after Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu reportedly intervened. FFK alleged that even then, Obi was kept at a distance and not allowed close to the Pontiff.

“Obidients take note: only go where you are accepted and appreciated and not where you are tolerated,” Fani-Kayode posted on social media, accompanied by laughing emojis.
