FG Must Pay The N500m Demanded By Igboho’s Lawyer – Ibadan Protesters Declares

Following the raid on Sunday Igboho’s residence by the Department of State Services, some Youths and Loyalists of Sunday Igboho gathered themselves at the early hours of Wednesday to protest against the invasion.

Recall that hours after his residence was attacked, the DSS confirmed it, saying that they acted based on intelligence report that Sunday Igboho was stockpiling weapons in his house to wage war against the Nigerian State. Furthermore, the DSS declared him wanted, urging him to surrender honourably because if he continues to run, whatever he believes in will fail him one day, and the law with having its way.

Reacting to the invasion, Youths trooped out to Sunday Igboho’s residence on Wednesday in a bid to express their dissatisfaction as regards the attack. Many chant his name as they eulogize him as the hero of the Yorubas who has saved them from the den of killer Herdsmen. The group also demanded that the Federal Government should stop threatening Sunday Igboho, adding that the N500m demanded by Igboho’s Lawyer for the damages done to his properties must be paid by the Federal Government.
