
The Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) has confirmed that four Muslims were killed and 10 others are missing following the deadly attack in Angwan Rukuba, Jos North LGA, Plateau State.
In a statement, JNI Secretary Dr. Salim Musa Umar said the confirmation came after speaking with families and community members affected by the attack.
The group reported that the bodies of the four confirmed victims have been identified at Jos University Teaching Hospital, while the 10 missing persons remain unaccounted for. Two other injured victims are receiving medical treatment.
JNI extended condolences to the families and urged residents to remain calm, commending efforts by authorities to restore order.
The federal government and security agencies continue investigations into the attack, as community leaders report higher death tolls than official figures.
