From N5bn to N13bn, Imo’s Federal Allocation Soars – Hope Uzodimma

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has attributed the state’s improved financial standing to increased federal allocations under President Bola Tinubu’s administration. Speaking during a media briefing on Friday, the governor revealed that monthly allocations to Imo have risen significantly—from N5 billion during the previous administration to between N12 and N13 billion currently.

“This financial uplift has transformed our capacity to govern effectively. We no longer borrow to pay salaries or fund critical projects,” Uzodimma stated, underscoring the impact of the increased revenue on infrastructure development and workers’ welfare in the state.

  1. What can this man tell us what he used the #5 billion previously to do in Imo state? If he did not utilise the #5billion judiciously, is it the #13billion he will know to do with?? We are in a fix in this government of APC
