Fuel attendants at the AP Filling Station in Maitama, opposite Transcorp Hilton, reportedly protested on Saturday over a shocking monthly salary of just ₦10,000.

The information was shared by a Digital Communications Strategist via a post on X. According to him, he engaged the attendants while refueling and was stunned to learn their monthly pay. “I asked if she meant ₦100,000, but she insisted it was ₦10,000,” he wrote. Another staff member confirmed it.

The workers had asked management for a raise, but their request was rejected. The strategist questioned the silence of labour unions and urged activists to focus on such grassroots injustices.
