Fuel Prices Dip Further as NNPCL, Major Marketers Reduce PMS Pump Rates in Abuja

Fuel Prices

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and several other filling stations have again reduced the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) across Abuja.

Akelicious correspondent observed that NNPCL retail outlets in parts of the Federal Capital Territory have adjusted their pump price to N915 per litre, down from N920, reflecting a N5 reduction.

Similarly, major marketers including MRS and BOVAS have lowered their prices to N910 per litre, a notable drop from previous highs of N945 per litre.

Other filling stations—such as AYM Shafa, NIPCO, Optima, Mobil, Ranoil, and Empire—were seen dispensing petrol at prices ranging between N920 and N937 per litre.

The latest reductions follow adjustments in the ex-depot price of petrol, with several suppliers now listing lower rates. Current ex-depot prices are: Dangote Refinery (N824.50), Eterna (N823), Aiteo (N823), and BOVAS (N822) per litre.

This marks the second price reduction by NNPCL in the last two weeks, with a cumulative drop of N30 from the previous high of N945 per litre, according to Akelicious.
