Ghana has deported three Israeli nationals following reports that Ghanaian citizens were subjected to unfair treatment at the Tel Aviv Airport.
In a statement released on December 10, 2025, the Ministry explained that the decision reflects Ghana’s duty to protect the dignity and rights of its people while preserving respectful diplomatic ties.
The Ministry noted that Ghana values its relationships with all friendly nations and expects its citizens to receive the same respect and humane treatment that Ghana offers to foreign nationals.
It added that the government will continue to take all necessary steps to safeguard the welfare of Ghanaians living or traveling abroad.
