A young man identified as Micheal has reportedly died after being stabbed by his girlfriend during a heated dispute in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State.
According to eyewitness accounts, the tragic incident occurred a few days ago when Micheal was allegedly stabbed in the leg by the girl during an argument. He was initially rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment and later discharged, though sources say he was still recovering at the time.
However, his condition reportedly deteriorated unexpectedly, prompting another emergency visit to a private hospital in the town late Saturday night. Unfortunately, Micheal passed away in the early hours of Sunday.
While the precise cause of the altercation remains unclear, comments on Micheal’s social media pages and testimonies from some family members suggest a troubled relationship marked by frequent quarrels. It was also revealed that the deceased had previously been warned to end the relationship.
His remains have been deposited at a mortuary as authorities commence further investigation into the matter.
