Former House of Representatives Member who represented the good people of Kokona, Karu and Keffi federal constituency at the green chamber of the National Assembly, Abuja from 2011-2015 and SDP Governorship candidate in the just concluded election in Nasarawa State, Honourable Ishaq Ahmed Kana, has debunked rumours making the rounds that he has uttered a statement accusing the incumbent Governor Umaru Tanko Al-makura of disappointed him being one of those who brought him on board as governor in 2011.

 Kana in a statement issued by his Online Media Assistant, Comr. Yahaya Idris Toto, a copy which was made available to Akelicious on Saturday night described the rumour as the handiwork of his political detractors and enemies of progress.

He described the news that he accused Governor Umaru Tanko Al-makura as a betrayal of trust as one of their antics of misinforming the good people of Nasarawa State especially when the elections has come and gone”.

 Kana stressed that the rumour was, part of the series of wicked lies already packaged by his “political antagonists and enemies of the State to confused the people of the State about the new possible Nasarawa State.

According to the former federal lawmaker, ” This is to state emphatically that I, Ishaq Ahmed Kana has never for one second made such statement and even when am making statement I do it through my media office”.

“My ambition to contest the last governorship election remains an obvious conviction borne out of a desire to serve the people of Nasarawa State selflessly without fear or favour, I am intact and unshaking by the special grace of God”.

“I am saying here that I have not and will not shy away from determination to serve my people in whichever capacity God grant me”.

Ishaq Kana while describing the rumour of his purportedly direct attacks to the incumbent Governor Umaru Tanko Al-makura as figment of imagination of some desperate politicians urged his teeming supporters to disregard rumour and continue to work in synergy and pray for a peaceful, prosperous Nasarawa State. Kana stated.
