Governor Sani Advises Appointees to Work Together for Kaduna’s Progress

Kaduna State Governor,  Uba Sani, has charged his newly appointed commissioners and special advisers to focus on the interests of the state’s citizens, reminding them that they are servants of the people.

The governor gave this advice during the swearing-in ceremony of the new appointees, including the Commissioner of Education, Professor Abubakar Sambo; the Commissioner of Youth Development, Gloria Ibrahim, and the Head of Service, Mrs. Jummai Bako, in Kaduna on Wednesday.

Sani emphasized the importance of teamwork and collaboration among the appointees, warning them against working in silos.

“It is by working as a team that we shall succeed. We must avoid working independently with limited communication or collaboration, as success will be hindered,” he said.

He also reminded the appointees of the administration’s achievements in the last two years, including massive infrastructural development, revival and revitalisation of the health and educational sectors, and frontally fighting poverty.

In the last two years, the government has been frontally fighting poverty, and strengthening our partnership with security forces to secure our dear state,’’ he added.

He charged them to build on these achievements and leave a lasting legacy for the state.

Think out of the box, while keeping the box in view. Roll up your sleeves and hit the ground running. You have been called to serve the good people of Kaduna State because you all possess the skills and competences to contribute effectively to the rebuilding and renewing of our dear state,” he said.

Other appointees that were sworn in include, Counsellor on Political Matters,Ado  Dogo Audu; Special Adviser on Economic Matters, Ahmad Shehu Haruna and Special Adviser on Political Affairs, Abubakar Shehu Giwa, as well as Special Adviser on Local Government Affairs, Kabiru Yakubu Jarimig.
