Socialite and nightlife entrepreneur Cubana Chief Priest has stirred political conversation online after openly declaring support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu while praising the performance of Abia State Governor Alex Otti.
In a viral statement, Cubana Chief Priest urged residents of Abia State to acknowledge President Tinubu’s role in the ongoing development efforts in the state. According to him, while Governor Otti has been widely applauded for his governance style and infrastructural strides, the federal government under Tinubu deserves equal recognition for providing financial support.
“All of us support Asiwaju; if it’s a lie, let him follow Peter Obi go to African Democratic Congress (ADC),” he said, in a remark that has since sparked mixed reactions across social media.
He further claimed that the achievements recorded by the Abia State government are largely backed by funds released by the presidency, describing Governor Otti as “an amazing governor” who is “representing the presidency well with his work.”
The socialite also emphasized the need for citizens to give credit to both leaders, stating that praise for Otti should not exclude recognition of Tinubu’s contributions.
