The atmosphere at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Ozubulu, in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State, was electrifying on Sunday as top leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) converged for the grand finale of Sir Azuka Okwuosa’s thank-you tour.
Sir Okwuosa, the APC candidate for the Anambra South Senatorial bye-election, arrived the church to a warm reception from party faithful and community members. His visit marked the culmination of a statewide appreciation tour to thank supporters ahead of the crucial poll.
In a show of party solidarity, the APC governorship candidate for Anambra, Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu (IKUKUOMA), also stormed the venue to join Okwuosa. His arrival was greeted with a rousing ovation and a ceremonial 21-gun salute, underscoring the political significance of the event.
Shortly after, Senator Uche Ekwunife (IYOM), the APC deputy governorship candidate, also made her way to the church, further boosting the party’s presence at the rally.
