Veteran Nollywood actress and activist, Hilda Dokubo, has reacted to a now-viral video showing a Nigerian House of Representatives member struggling to move a motion during a plenary session.
The video, which has stirred widespread reactions across social media, shows the lawmaker fumbling with words and visibly struggling to articulate his motion before the assembly—prompting a wave of mockery and concern from Nigerians.
Hilda Dokubo, never one to shy away from political commentary, took to her social media to express her dismay in a satirical tone.
“Can we all give him a big round of applause.🤪👏👏👏👏 Kai! Can you all see why they don’t speak? Why those of us who can speak, annoy them? See what a member of the House of Representatives is doing to his people. Let me go and sleep bikonu,” she wrote.
