On the 23rd of May 2023 ,Justice Y Halilu of the FCT High Court sentenced Hon Chuma Nzeribe, a Nigerian Politican and one-time member of the House of Representatives to 10 years concurrent prison terms.
The conviction stemmed from a 4 count charge preferred against him by the anti graft agency EFCC. He was found guilty on all charges bothering on fraud and sentenced accordingly.
In a twist not known to our jurisprudence, the politician who ought to be sitting in prison adorning prison uniforms is now out despite being convicted by a court of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.
He now wants a position to sit in the Senate to represent the good people of Anambra South. What an audacity of shame. Anambra South deserves much better than a yahoo- yahoo, Senator.
If you vote for a well advertised felon , your votes will be wasted because the Tribunal will flung him off the window .
