President Bola Tinubu has stressed that human life is more valuable than livestock, warning that conflict opens the door for political enemies who do not wish leaders well.
Speaking at the townhall meeting in Benue State, Tinubu told Governor Hyacinth Alia that criticism is part of leadership, saying he is constantly scrutinized but uses even political attacks as learning opportunities.
“No matter what I do, they will abuse me,” Tinubu said, adding that he pays attention to media criticism and draws lessons from it. He reaffirmed his role as a “performer,” not one to shift blame, and urged leaders to focus on peace and responsibility.
