Celebrity barman and socialite, Cubana Chiefpriest, has launched a blistering response to Isaac Fayose following a heated exchange over political alignment and business influence.
The controversy began after Fayose criticized Chiefpriest for aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration. In a strongly worded rebuttal, Chiefpriest defended his stance, arguing that aligning with power is a strategic move for business growth, not weakness.
In a lengthy statement, Chiefpriest dismissed Fayose’s criticism, questioning his business credibility and challenging him to a public debate on wealth and enterprise.
“Over 30 governors have aligned with the government; you expect an ordinary businessman not to align?” Chiefpriest said. “You want me to negotiate the release of Nnamdi Kanu by being in opposition? Tell me the Yoruba businessman that released Sunday Igboho.”
The nightlife entrepreneur further boasted about his business achievements, stating that his family members all run active enterprises and that his brand has worked with multinational companies across Africa.
“My name grows business. I can count multinationals that have engaged my services as Africa’s biggest PR. That’s why it pains you that an asset like me is working for President Tinubu,” he declared.
Chiefpriest also emphasized that he employs over 1,000 people through his initiatives and cannot afford to “fight the government,” choosing instead to align with what he described as the “moving train” of Renewed Hope.
In response to the personal attacks, Fayose reportedly called him out directly, prompting Chiefpriest to deliver a stinging clapback.
“Issac Fayose, you can never make it into this room. This picture alone is worth more than 20 million pounds,” Chiefpriest wrote.
