President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed deep sympathy to victims of the recent killings in Plateau State, following a viral video showing a grieving mother clutching the lifeless body of her son.

Speaking in reaction to the emotional footage, the President acknowledged the woman’s pain, describing the moment as heartbreaking and a reflection of the deep trauma faced by affected families.

“I know the pain; I saw how, in the video, you held on to your son and the pain and agony in your heart, but it’s only God who can give you joy and comfort. No amount of money can pay all of you back,” Tinubu said.

He assured the victims that the federal government would provide support and stand by them during this difficult time. “As a government, we will do our best to comfort you,” he added.
