ASABA- The Delta State Chapter Leadership of Igbo Legacy and Igbo Business Club has Commended the Executive Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa on the re-appointment of its Board of Trustees Chairman in Delta State, Hon. Chief Dr. Awele Nwabuokei as his Executive Assistant on Oil and Gas.
The group in a press release today being Friday 22nd November, 2019 made available to Newsmen as signed by the National Leader of the group, Comrade Kenneth Okorie, Delta State Co-ordinator, Comrade Emenike Bieni, State deputy Coordinator, Surveyor Emeka, State Woman Leader, Comrade Christy Ojei, State Youth Leader, Prince Ben Obi Okolie, State Secretary, Comrade Okonkwo Mercy, State Publicity Secretary, Engr. Uche Queen Chigbo, State Assistant Publicity Secretary, Comrade Scholar Ossai who described Chief Awele Nwabuokei as an illustrious son of Anioma Nation, a Philanthropist, Community development expert, Youth friendly political Leader, seasoned Educationist and enlightened businessman.

Dr. Awele Nwabuokei is the Chairman Board of Trustees, Igbo Legacy and Igbo Business Club in Delta State is a Ph.D holder in “Development” from University of Abuja, Nigeria. He had served the Federal Government of Nigeria meritoriously for 35 years and retired as a Public servant from petroleum Products Products Regulatory Agency under the Federal Ministry of Petroleum resources.
The stated that this is one of the best appointment Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has made in the history of the Delta by looking inwards to have selected one of the best qualified, most credible individuals from Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South LGA, Delta State, Nigeria and the rest of the World.
The group while thanking the Governor for re- appointing Dr. Awele Nwabuokei who first held sway in Okowa’s first tenure as Executive Assistant on Special duties assured the Governor of their Leader’s Commitment to this administration’s stronger Delta agenda and towards sustainable Socio-economic growth and development of the state.
