The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has extended the grace period for enforcing the tinted glass permit requirement to August 12, 2025.
The extension follows public concerns about the recently reactivated digital application process.
The police say the move allows for further improvements to ensure the system is secure, user-friendly, and inclusive.
