Social commentator and activist, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), has reacted after Isaac Fayose, brother to former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, pledged the sum of ₦10 million towards buying him a Hummer truck as a birthday gift.
Isaac Fayose had earlier urged Nigerians to contribute funds to help make VDM’s long-cherished dream of owning a Hummer truck a reality, describing it as a way of appreciating his “good work” in society.
Reacting via his Instagram story, VDM expressed surprise and gratitude for the pledge but clarified that if such contributions were made to purchase the car, he would rather sell it and channel the proceeds into charity.
In his words:
“Ahhhh EGBON you want drop 10 million naira wOw, GOD BLESS YOU UNC. However, if una contribute buy me this car I will sell the car and use the money for charity oooo. GOD BLESS THE RATEL MOVEMENT @gisaacfayoseoriginal.”
